Q3 WelcomeHome Benchmark Report: Occupancy Peaks, Lead Connections Analyzed, and Key Trends Across Care Types & Regions

Notable highlights from Q3:


  • Occupancy hit its highest level since COVID-19 in September at 83.6%, a 3-point increase since January 2024 and a 12-point increase since January 2022. 

  • Among WelcomeHome communities, the top 25% achieved occupancy rates of 94% or higher.

  • Sales Directors connect with about 80% of leads, but 27% of those connected leads don’t move beyond the connection stage and close reasons vary widely by lead source. 

  • Financial disqualification at the connection stage: Across the industry, about 1 in 5 prospects are closed at the connections stage because they can’t afford your services. Transparency with pricing can support efficiency in the early sales process.
