Journey to WelcomeHome

I love working for start-ups because they are fast-paced and allow all employees to have a seat at the table when decisions are being considered. I was working for a startup company as an Account Manager for high-profile pharmaceutical clients, and once that company was acquired, my values didn’t align with the new employer's. I found the job posting for WelcomeHome, talked to my future team members, and instantly fell in love with the people and values of the organization as a whole.


What do you love about working in Customer Success? 

I get to make an impact on my clients and how they operate. I also get to advocate for my client’s needs and potentially make amazing software changes that improve the experience for so many others. Building long-lasting relationships is rewarding, especially with a group of people who care for the Senior Living industry.

Our mission statement is: Listen.Care.Commit. This organization does this. We listen to our clients, know their struggles, and commit to helping them in whatever capacity we can. WelcomeHome also places value in our employees’ families. I think my team loves my son just as much as I do! 


What makes a successful leader? 

A successful leader is someone who shows up for their team. I will never ask my employees to do something that I haven’t or wouldn’t do, and usually, I am working to help them serve their clients better! Showing up also means being empathetic when life happens and never causing more stress when outside life is tough.
